A couple has celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary.
Janet and Barry Howard, who are residents at Thorpe House Care Home in Griston, marked 60 years of marriage with a special lunch.
The couple, known affectionately as the care home's "Romeo and Juliet" enjoyed a private table filled with flowers, cards and cake.
They tied the knot on October 3, 1964, at St Edmund's Church in Costessey, surrounded by family and friends.
Their family has since grown to include three children and five grandchildren.
The Howards share a love for travel, having visited Greece, Spain, Cyprus, Portugal, Tenerife, and Florida.
Janet, originally from Old Costessey, met Barry while working at Coldhams before becoming a stay-at-home mum.
Barry, who hails from a family with a long-standing tradition in the hair business, eventually took over the family shop, which is now run by their son, Brad.
The couple has been popular figures at Thorpe House since moving in this year.
They are known for being inseparable and are rarely seen apart from each other.
