While Delia Smith remains the most familiar famous face at Carrow Road, many celebrities have visited the stadium over the years.

Here are seven times famous have come to Norwich to either support the Canaries or watch their side take on the mighty Yellows. 

1. Prince of Wales and family 

The family at Carrow Road in 2019 (Image: Paul Chesterton) The Prince and Princess of Wales took their children George and Charlotte, then six and four, to watch Aston Villa take on the Canaries at Carrow Road in October 2019.

A bad day for the Yellows, Prince George was pictured enthusiastically celebrating as he watched Villa romp to a 5-1 victory.

Prince William started supporting Aston Villa during his school days.

Despite going to school in Berkshire, he chose a team further afield as he did not want to follow the crowd.

2. Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran at Carrow Road in 2017 (Image: Charlie Mann) A proud Tractor Boy, Ed Sheeran has been spotted several times at Carrow Road supporting his beloved Ipswich Town against their derby rivals. 

Despite this, The Shape of You singer was seen sitting in the Norwich end during the 2017 East Anglian Derby. 

He was also caught photo-bombing a Norwich fan's photo with two former Canaries. 

3. Keir Starmer and Ed Balls

Although an Arsenal fan, Sir Keir Starmer was spotted at Carrow Road earlier this year in March alongside Norwich City vice president Ed Balls in the director's box.

The Canaries defeated the Black Cats 1-0 with a goal from Josh Sargent. 

Following the game, the now prime minister enjoyed a meal at the Merchants of Spice II.

4. Amanda Holden

In 2004 she was joined by her partner Chris Hughes to watch Everton win.

5. Michael McIntyre

Michael McIntyre poses with a fan (Image: PA Wire/PA Images) Michael McIntyre and Robert Rinder were spotted in the stands in May 2022 as their team Tottenham Hotspur took on Norwich City, winning 5-0.

McIntyre posed for selfies with fans and Judge Rinder took to Twitter after the game to praise fans: "What a credit to the sport Norwich City FC fans are.

"Thank you for having us, we'll be back."

6. King George VI

King George VI and Queen Elizabeth visited Norwich in October 1938 and as part of their day, they headed to Carrow Road to watch the start of the game between Norwich City and Millwall. 

The King met the players while the Queen went to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital to open the Geoffrey Colman Memorial.

He was the first reigning monarch to watch a game and the Canaries lost two nil. 

7. Dean Gaffney and Michael Greco

The pair, known for playing Robbie Jackson and Beppe Di Marco in EastEnders, were spotted cheering on The Blues in the Wensum Corner of the Norwich City end.

They were spoken to by a steward and they were seen leaving their seats at half-time and didn't come back to see their team win 3-2.
