A father and daughter team have opened a new Moroccan-inspired restaurant in the city.
Jenna and Mo Sakim opened the doors to Amelia’s Bar and Kitchen in London Street on Friday.
Mr Sakim, who is also the head chef, has created brunch and dinner menus featuring classics such as eggs benedict and steak, as well as Moroccan dishes inspired by his heritage including shakshuka and tajines.
Mr Sakim previously owned a restaurant in London and while he has spent many years working in the industry, it will be his daughter's first experience of running a restaurant.
Ms Sakim went to school in Sheringham before attending university in Manchester where she was inspired by the variety of options and events on offer.
Naming the restaurant after her younger sister Amelia, the 31-year-old says that family is at the heart of the business.
She added: "Living in Manchester for many years, there was so much stuff going on and so much variety.

"I wanted to bring a bit of that to Norwich and create another brunch and dinner option for people to enjoy in the city.
"We wanted to create a menu with lots of classic dishes that everyone enjoys as well as some with a Moroccan twist, such as the traditional tajines."
Amelia's also has an extensive wine and cocktail menu and barista-style coffees are available throughout the day.
Future plans involve bottomless brunches and roast dinners, as well as outdoor seating.
Amelia's Bar & Kitchen is open for brunch between 9am and 4pm on Monday, Tuesday and Sunday, and for both brunch and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday between the hours of 9am to 10pm.
