Young people affected by cancer enjoyed thrilling rides in supercars thanks to a local charity.
Giving Days, which supports the community through charitable collaborations, joined forces with Big C Cancer Charity to offer their Supercar Experience Days to five members of Big C's Teen and Young Adult (TYA) group and their families.
The supercar experience gave the participants the opportunity to ride in high-end vehicles such as a Ferrari 488, a Lamborghini Huracan, and a Lamborghini Urus.
They also had the chance to tour the compound and see other impressive cars, including the GT3 RS.
Kieran, one of the participants, said: "Amazing, more than I could have ever wished for."
Another participant, Suad, added: "The team was absolutely wonderful and amazing.
"It was a great experience and opportunity.
"I would love to come again to see them and the cars."
Big C support and information officer, Corinne Cambridge, who also attended, said: "I loved seeing the massive smiles on their faces stepping out of the supercars; the experience made us all grin from ear to ear."
Another attendee, Andy, who was present with his family, said: “Giving Days made us feel very welcome.
"The cars were amazing, and the girls loved going for a ride in them.
"They provided Domino’s pizza for lunch as well as other yummy refreshments.
"It was a great day.”
In addition to the Supercar Experience Days, Giving Days also contributed significantly towards a kitchen refurbishment at Big C’s NNUH Support Centre.
Dr Melanie Pascale, director of charitable operations at Big C, said: “We are delighted with the support we have received from Giving Days, including the incredible funding to aid our kitchen refurbishment.
"We are therefore incredibly thankful to Giving Days for their donation.”
