McDonald's in Chantry Place Norwich reopens with new look

The Chantry Place restaurant, located in the Dining Terrace on the top floor of the shopping centre, has been shut for a month. 

It has been given a ‘Convenience of the Future’ refurbishment, combining a new layout with the latest technology.

This includes a front counter redesign, which has created specific areas for different sales channels, and a dedicated courier waiting area and entrance. 

There have also been improvements made to the kitchen, including a bigger order assembly area, and crew room.

Inside the newly refurbished McDonald's restaurant in Chantry Place Carol Rogerson, the franchisee who owns and operates 21 McDonald’s restaurants in Norfolk and Suffolk, said: "I am proud to reinvest in our Norwich Chantry Place restaurant - especially as McDonald’s celebrates its 50th anniversary in the UK this year.

"The dining area is more contemporary and we now have separate facilities for our dine-in customers and our couriers, which will create a better experience for everyone.

"I am confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our wonderful crew.”
