Norwich City fan Gary Heffer fills shed with Canaries items

But the football fan has taken his love of Norwich City to another level by filling his shed with memorabilia of his beloved club.

Among his vast collection in his shed at Hainford is his "pride and joy" - two seats from Carrow Road.

Speaking from what he called his "Man Cave", Mr Heffer, 42, said: "My pride and joy is the Norwich section, especially the seats.

"They are from the Carrow Road South Stand before it was demolished and eventually reopened in 2004.

"Me and my mum had season tickets as a Junior Canary, these were our seats.

"They were ten pound each, they are my holy grail piece."

Mr Heffer has been collecting sports figures and memorabilia for most of his life.

He said: "I used to collect everything as a kid.

"I would buy something, look at it and put it in storage.

"There was always the hope one day it would make me a millionaire."

He said: "'During lockdown' is a phrase that comes out from a lot of collectors at the moment because we had nothing to do.

"I then realised how much money was in my parents' loft.

"Fifteen boxes of treasure, I became a seller and started getting rid of bits.

"We had a few holidays and things out of it but I stopped and ended up buying more, I am not really sure why, perhaps a fear of missing out."

Mr Heffer has collected countless amounts of wrestling and football memorabilia including signed figures and shirts.

Mr Heffer's Corinthian figures (Image: Jack Warren, Newsquest) He said: "Some of the Euro 96 Corinthian figures I have, there are only one or two left in world. 

"When we got the house my wife thought it was perfect because of the outbuilding.

"She thought it would be perfect for the kids to have a play area, but I had to claim it for this."

Mr Heffer also has a huge collection of shirts that he has collected throughout his years as a Norwich fan, including the earliest one he can remember from the 1989-90 season.
