A woman is pleading for the safe return of her French Bulldog as she fears the pooch has been stolen.
Jennie Frost first realised her dog called Chai was not at home in Grove Avenue, Costessey, at 10.30am on Monday.
Ms Frost called her partner to see if he had taken Chai to work but after finding out he had not, she started a search of the house.
With the three-and-a-half-year-old dog nowhere to be seen, Ms Frost began knocking on her neighbours’ doors and was shown some suspicious CCTV footage.
It showed a tall man, in a long black coat and carrying an over-the-shoulder bag, arriving at the property where he took a look around the cars in the driveway.

He then disappeared and hid in a nearby bush before returning to the home.
Ms Frost is doing everything she can to bring Chai home and is handing out leaflets to people across Costessey.
"I want to be positive,” she said. “Please just give her back. I know she wants to come home, she loves us so much and we love her so much."
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and anyone with information should contact Norfolk Constabulary on 101 with the reference: 36/75299/24.
