Get your gladrags on and spend a Saturday afternoon dancing like nobody's watching as Vicky McClure's daytime rave returns to Norwich.

Day Fever will pitch up at The UEA LCR on November 2, followed by Sleigh Fever - a Christmas special "with all the trimmings" - on December 21.

The Line of Duty star came up with the concept just under a year ago along with her husband filmmaker Jonny Owens and Reverend and the Makers frontman Jon McClure.

The actress sang the city's praises after their last visit to Norwich on September 28.

"It was absolutely fantastic - sometimes Day Fevers just pop and Norwich definitely popped," she said.

"Everyone was really up for it and it was a beautiful crowd.

"People came dressed up and were dancing on the stage - we even had an 80-year-old gentleman up there."

And dancing on stage is something the couple says has become a standard.

"They can see they're in a really friendly safe space and so we just get people coming on stage and having a boogie and you can just see them enjoy that moment," Vicky said.

"The audience members become the real stars of the show."

Jonny is the DJ while Vicky likes to dance along with the crowd in her "Bez from the Happy Mondays role".

From indie hits to 80s classics, the music encompasses a multitude of genres.

"Because the event is five hours long we can kind of play everything," Jonny said.

"There's all the usual suspects from people's childhoods - Take That, Oasis - but also songs from the likes of Frank Sinatra and The Beatles, basically all the hits from the 20th century you can imagine."

"I always play a Town Called Malice and there's a bit of a ravey 90s section that's always a big moment for people."

Jon is set to attend the November event, while Vicky and Jonny plan to join the festive cheer at the Sleigh Fever event which will see The LCR decked out with Christmas decorations and a specially curated Christmas set.

Tickets for Day Fever (November 2) and Sleigh Fever (December 21) cost £11 and are available at ueaticketbookings.co.uk.
