From Jarrolds to Anglian Water, here are five public notices to be aware of in Norfolk this week. 

1. Heigham Street roadworks

Drivers may face delays during the work (Image: Google maps) Norfolk County Council's Highway Authority has announced planned roadworks in Heigham Street in Norwich at the A1024 junction.

This is to carry out essential highway repair and maintenance work.

Between 9am and 3pm from October 31 to November 1, parts of the road will be closed with temporary traffic lights in place at the junction.

2. Plans to turn former tattoo parlour into home

Plans have been laid out to replace Chameleon Tattoo, located at 363B Aylsham Road, with a two-bedroom property. 

The first-floor business sits above Ingenious Scissors and MD Aesthetics & Beauty on the busy Boundary junction, opposite The Boundary pub.

If approved, all 69 square metres would be repurposed, with one of the two studio spaces split into two bedrooms and the larger studio split into a living and dining area. 

3. Jarrolds spa and beauty salon

Jarrolds has been granted permission to revamp some former offices at its flagship store into a spa and beauty salon. 

The Retreat day spa is set to expand into the first and second floors of the department store as Norwich City Council approves the designs.

The proposed plans include an additional three single treatment rooms, a double treatment room, three manicure stations, two pedicure stations and a bar.

4. Death notice

Susan Mary High who lived at Norwich Road, Cromer, died on July 8 and her home has been left in the hands of local administrators.

Under the Trustee Act 1925, any persons having a claim against or an interest in the estate are required to send written inquiries to Hansells Solicitors, 10 Church Street, Cromer.

All inquiries must be submitted by December 3. 

5. Anglian Water works

Traffic will be diverted along Aerodrome Road (Image: Google Maps) Gorse Road in Norwich at its junction with Plumstead Road East will be closed for pipe connection work carried out by Anglian Water.

The work, which is happening from November 5 to November 7, will not close the whole of Gorse Road but access for vehicles will be restricted. 

A diversion will be in place during the work, taking traffic around Aerodrome Road and on to Plumstead Road East.
