A Mexican restaurant renowned for its theming and tasty food devastated its fans when the team announced they would fill their last tacos after nearly 30 years.
We are of course talking about Pedro's which served up Mexican-themed food in Chapelfield Gardens for almost three decades.
Pedro's first opened its doors in the late eighties and was celebrated for its diversity of Tex-Mex treats from tortillas to seafood tacos and steak - a smorgasbord of international offerings that was unique in Norwich at the time.
But city folk were left devastated to lose the quirky backdrop to many of their date nights and celebrations when Pedro's announced it would be closing its doors permanently in 2019.

The restaurant was atmospherically lit up with neon signs and packed full of eclectic decor gathered from the owner's years of worldwide travel where they collected all things colourful and kitsch.
Guests were even encouraged to don a complimentary sombrero as they sipped on their margaritas as part of the restaurant's efforts to make every day feel like a celebration.
Following the closing announcement, more than 830 people took to social media to mourn the loss of the long-standing spot.
Andrew Rose said: "Gutted, loved Pedro's, loads of family memories in that place, all the best to the staff and owners."

Lisa Prior added: "No!!!! Been going for 30 years and always love it. Thank goodness we went two weeks ago.
"Really hope it opens elsewhere. It's a Norwich institution. Gutted."
Following the closure, the director of the business commented that Pedro's sadly "had just not been busy enough to stay open".
The restaurant was turned into Harry's Burger Bar in 2020 before being transformed into a new Cafe No.33 branch in 2023.
