One of Norfolk's scariest Halloween events has returned for 2024. Reviewer Emily-Rose Thompson decided to face her fears and leap into the unknown at PrimEvil's fright fest.
I had never been before but armed with a friend who had, we decided to visit this year's PrimEvil.
The event takes place at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure in Lenwade and is running on selected dates until November 2.
There are five "haunts" - The Mayhem Manor Hotel, The Crypt, Circus of Terror, Route 666 and NEW Toxic Mutation.
We completed four of the five haunts, skipping Circus of Terror because we are both scared of clowns!
Overall, I thought the best parts were the tunnels and confined spaces, especially in The Crypt, as you don't know what is hiding around the corner.

The strobe lighting - which I will say was very intense in Route 666 - made you feel as though you really had to navigate your way through the haunts.
There could have been more live actors outside of the attractions. Some of the haunts had long queues and this would have helped keep the atmosphere alive.
I would recommend the coffee from Deans Beans! It warmed us both up and the service was both friendly and fast.
PrimEvil was a thrilling experience and I would recommend it to anyone who loves the spooky season.
