A motor enthusiast died after being crushed beneath a Land Rover he was doing mechanical work on, a court has heard.
Maciej Wachonski, known as Macey, died in the driveway of his home in Forcett St Peter, south of Norwich, earlier this year. He was 36.
An inquest into his death heard that care assistant had been carrying out work on his Land Rover Discovery on the day of his death.
But tragedy struck when he became trapped beneath the wheel arch as the 4x4 fell from his car jack and on top of him.
Police investigations at the scene found that the accident had happened because Mr Wachonski had secured the vehicle using a wooden block and a car jack attached to the towbar - rather than its designated jacking point.

In a statement read to Norfolk Coroner's Court, a friend of Mr Wachonski said he had moved to England from his native Poland 15 years ago, having last visited his homeland two years ago.
She said: "Maciej was a sensible and responsible man, so the way his death happened was a huge shock. I could not believe he had not followed the correct safety procedures.
"We would talk on the phone a lot and his big passion in life was cars, particularly Land Rovers and Range Rovers."
The court heard Mr Wachonski worked as a full time care assistant for a family he lived next door to.
He would regularly work on cars and had turned his front garden into a makeshift workshop.
On the day of the incident on April 14, a neighbour returned home from a trip out to find Mr Wachonski trapped beneath his vehicle and raised the alarm.
Assistant coroner Johanna Thompson concluded Mr Wachonski had died an accidental death.
