A fireworks display appears to have ended early after people were unable to reach the event due to traffic chaos.
Organisers of the fireworks display, which was being hosted by a scouts group in Sprowston, had to turn people away after the site reached full capacity.
People told BBC Norfolk that they were stuck in standstill traffic for more than an hour while trying to reach the venue in Tusting Close.
It is also understood that a fire engine travelling on blue lights was also caught up in the traffic.
According to posters issued ahead of the event tickets started at £5 if bought in advance of £6 on the gate.
The fireworks display was expected to start at 7.30pm with a short interval and then a second display at 8pm.
