The afternoon tea at a Norfolk garden centre has been named the best in the country.
Green Pastures Plant Centre, in Bergh Apton, scooped the gold at the Garden Centre Catering Awards.
Its restaurant serves afternoon tea 300 days a year and its menu changes most days.
Head chef Brandon Allison tries to offer a unique range of flavours, offering the likes of mini cheeseburger sliders, minted lamb pasties and ham hock terrine as an alternative to the "regulation sausage roll".

“We’ve been so proud of the afternoon teas we’ve been creating this year,” director Michelle Evans said.
“Everything is homemade and created with so much care and passion.

"Our chefs are constantly evolving it throughout the seasons, often using produce from our on-site farm shop and we’ve even been able to include our homegrown fruit”.
Bookings are now open for the restaurant's Festive Afternoon Tea which will include treats such as beef shin and horseradish Yorkshire pudding, spiced orange and cinnamon 'dodger' and a black forest posset with sour cherry and chocolate soil.
