Staff at a Norwich care home have raised more than £1,200 for those impacted by a neurodegenerative disease.
Kelly Gibson and Anne-Marie Campling, team members at Cavell Court on Dragonfly Lane, completed the Trek 26 Suffolk Walk to raise funds.
The pair walked 14 miles, starting and ending in Thorpeness, and raised £627.
Care UK matched this amount, bringing the total to £1,254.
Kelly and Anne-Marie presented the donation to Cheryl Day from the Alzheimer's Society.
Ms Day said: “Thank you to everyone at Cavell Court for such a generous donation and for all your hard work.
"We’re proud to have built such a wonderful relationship with the care home and look forward to seeing these funds really make a difference.”
Karen Curle, home manager at Cavell Court, said: “Well done Kelly and Anne-Marie for stepping up and completing the trek for a charity that is extremely close to everyone’s hearts here at Cavell Court."
