With extended shopping hours, pop-up shops and plenty of photo opportunities, it is set to be a busy Christmas at Chantry Place.

The city shopping centre is decked out for the festive season with plenty of twinkling lights, a Santa's sleigh and a 26ft tree.

A huge walk-through present has also been placed in Chantry Square.

Thistle Gem, The Calendar Club, Lovey Dovey and Sense Aroma can all be found inside the centre until January and Pollyfields will be selling handcrafted decorations in Chantry Square until Christmas Eve.

To give everyone as much preparation time as possible, Chantry Place will open for an extra hour until 7pm on Thursdays throughout December.

It will also be open late on December 23 and from 9am until 5pm on December 24.
