Two county roads will receive a new zebra crossing and bus lane this autumn as County Hall continues to make safety improvements.

Plantation Road in Blofield will receive a 2.4-metre-wide crossing near its junction with Manor Ridge, opposite Blofield Surgery.

Norfolk County Council says this will make it a "safer environment" for pedestrians.

One such scheme will be to remove a zebra crossing along Yarmouth Road near its junction with Primrose Crescent and replace it with a puffin crossing.

The other will be to implement an "experimental" traffic order which will cut the bus lane hours along Aylsham Road and Cromer Road from 24 hours a day to 12 hours a day.
