A doorbell camera has captured shocking footage of people shooting fireworks from a car while it was driving down a residential road in Norwich.

Ross Hill, a school teacher who lives in Corbet Avenue, Sprowston, was at home with his housemate and dogs when he heard loud bangs outside his home.

After calming down his dogs, he went to investigate the Nest doorbell footage revealing that someone was driving down the road launching fireworks from a car at around 8.50pm on Saturday night.

Mr Hill said: "Me and my housemate were completing some work while house-sitting my girlfriend's elderly dog and my own when we heard fireworks nearby.

"Making sure the dogs were okay we suddenly heard a bang that was more like a bomb going off because of how close it was, with my friend jumping up saying someone was shooting fireworks at the house."

The incident has been reported to police, who have been contacted for comment.
