A midwife and author from Norwich has become the latest to leave the Great British Bake Off tent.
Illiyin Morrison, 31, was one of this series' earliest favourites after her cinnamon roll loaf cake earned a 'Hollywood Handshake' in episode one.
Since then, she has had some stand-out moments. In week two she fainted at the end of the showstopper challenge, and her Dessert Week tiramisu wowed both judges, Paul and Prue.
Local fans were delighted to see her reach the final five last week, but she was sent home after tonight's 1970s Week episode.
Her Afro-inspired profiterole tower was described as "absolutely delicious" but unfortunately collapsed.
Later, her banoffee pie was branded "clumsy" and her retro peach melba tier cake also failed to stay upright.
Saying a teary goodbye, Illiyin said: "Underneath all these feelings is an immense sense of pride - and I'm glad I have that."
She joked she was secretly glad not to have to practice patisserie for the next episode and called the show "an exceptional competition" full of "exceptional bakers".
The Great British Bake Off airs on Channel 4 on Tuesdays at 8pm.
