The long-awaited replacement for Norwich's Tunnel of Light has been unveiled.
The Canopy of Light sits in the newly refurbished Hay Hill and city folk got their first glimpse of it during Thursday's Christmas lights switch-on.
It has been created by Norwich Business Improvement District and features 32,000 energy-efficient LED lights hanging from more than 1,200 two-metre drops.
The installation uses 1.6 miles of linear light strings – equivalent to the length of 183 double-decker buses.

Stefan Gurney, executive director of Norwich Business Improvement District, said: “We wanted to bring a new experience to Norwich for the new public space at Hay Hill.
"Something which would change with the elements, create awe with movement and offer different perspectives from every angle.
"The breadth of controllable lighting options we have is a first for the UK using this technology.
"From every direction it can be viewed, observed and enjoyed.
“We feel the Canopy of Light complements Hay Hill and we hope that it will be enjoyed by everyone, nestled in the centre of the festive lights across Norwich.”
