There have been several crashes on Norfolk roads this morning, with collisions in Norwich, Reepham and Thorpe Market. The icy road conditions may be an important factor at fault.
Police were called at 7.45am following reports of a single car that had come off the road at the A149 to North Walsham Junction with Thorpe Road.
Reports suggest ambulance services were on the scene and the driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital for further care.
Police were then called at 8.15am following reports of a two-car crash on Reepham Road, with one vehicle left on its side and the road partially blocked.
Ambulance and fire services attended the scene but no serious injuries have been reported.
There has also been a two-car collision on Earlham Road in Norwich, again leaving one car on its side, with all emergency services on the scene.
All roads are now open, but traffic remains heavy throughout Norwich.
