An inquest has been opened after a vending machine operative was found dead near a historic Norwich landmark.
The body of Robin Carway, 39, was discovered in woodland adjacent to Kett’s Heights on November 7.
Mr Carway, who was married and lived on Newbegin Road in the Heartsease area of the city, was declared dead at the scene.
An inquest into his death was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court where brief details were shared by the senior coroner, Jacqueline Lake.
She confirmed that a post mortem report revealed Mr Carway’s medical cause of death was “hanging”.

Mrs Lake told the court that Mr Carway had been born in Norwich on February 5, 1985.
She said a full inquest to confirm the official cause of death would take place in March 2025.
