The youngest pupils at a school on the edge of Norwich are receiving an "outstanding" education, inspectors have said.
Heather Avenue Infant School in Hellesdon, which became an academy seven years ago, welcomed Ofsted last month for its first full inspection since 2012. Inspectors judged its early years provision to be outstanding.
Officials also gave top marks for the personal development of pupils, with all other areas of the inspection rated as 'good'.
Stacey Coleman, headteacher at Heather Avenue, said: "I am delighted that Ofsted recognised what we already celebrate about our school, that we are inclusive and caring and that our pupils thrive.
"Heather Avenue is a small school with very big ambitions and this report reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff."
Daniel Thrower, chief executive of the Wensum Trust, which runs the school, said the praise was "well deserved".
