Norwich Soca Seniors hosted two teams from Hungary in a friendly walking football tournament.
Organised by over-50s manager John Rogers, the event took place on Saturday, November 16, at the FDC.
Mr Rogers met George, a fellow walking footballer, during a visit to Gyor last year, where the invitation was extended.
The tournament saw six home teams of various ages and abilities play against the Hungarian visitors.
A highlight of the day was the participation of Robert Fleck, a former Norwich City and Scotland player, who played one game with each of the Norwich teams.
The players expressed their delight at sharing the pitch with Fleck, who also enjoyed the day.
After the tournament, the players were treated to an early tea prepared by Mrs Townsend and Mrs Rogers.
The Soca Seniors are planning to reciprocate the visit by travelling to Gyor for a similar event in September next year, further strengthening the friendly ties between the teams.
