People in a housing estate on the outskirts of Norwich have been warned to check their security cameras after trespassers were seen trying car door handles in the dead of night.

Dan Tooke, head of science at Sprowston Community High School, issued the caution after catching two men entering his driveway on his home CCTV.

The intrusion happened at 4.40am on Tuesday in the recently built Festival Park development in Easton, next to the showground, with the two men seen dressed in dark clothing.

In the CCTV footage they can be seen pulling each car door handle to see if any were open and then quickly leaving the property after finding the cars locked.
