A new shop selling vintage clothes, accessories and an array of miscellaneous items has opened in the heart of the Norwich Lanes.

Sams in the Lanes has launched in Bridewell Alley and offers a vast range of vintage and second-hand items - from clothes to video games, film cameras, VHS tapes and books.

Retail manager David Funnell oversees Sams along with Norwich Samaritans' two other shops in Aylsham Road and Westlegate.

"Our other two shops were wonderfully doing pretty well and we saw an opportunity to expand into the Norwich Lanes which is a great shopping community to be part of.

Georgina, one of the volunteers at the shop (Image: Denise Bradley) "It's a wonderfully quirky, old building with nooks here and everywhere and I guess the kind of items we started to look for was partly inspired by the shop itself."

The store is open from 9am to 5pm from Tuesday to Sunday and welcomes donations of vintage and second-hand items.
