Two teenagers arrested after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed on the Norwich outskirts are due to answer police bail next month.

The boys, one aged 13 and one aged 14, were arrested on suspicion of assault after another teenage boy was found with minor stab wounds in North Walsham Road.

Emergency services were called to the scene following the incident, which happened at 3.20pm on Sunday, October 6, and the teen was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

He was treated for superficial injuries and was later discharged.

A spokesman for Norfolk Constabulary said the two teens who were arrested following the stabbing were thought to be known to the victim.

The spokesman said they have been bailed to appear at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre (PIC) on December 18 and December 19.
