A man has been arrested after an emergency service presence was spotted in the city centre.
Locals noticed two police cars and an ambulance parked in Magdalen Street at around 1.30pm on Thursday.
A Norfolk police spokeswoman confirmed the force was called to assist the ambulance service in Garden Place.
A man in his 30s was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he remains.
