A hunt for information has begun after four Tommy figures that were put out in commemoration of Remembrance Day were damaged.
A total of five figures were displayed by Long Stratton Town Council and, following a collection on November 26, four were found to be damaged.
The knife section of the weapon held by the statues was removed sometime between November 23 and 26 from four of the figures.
Their locations were at Memorial Garden in Swan Lane, the Village Hall and the Congregational Church in Ipswich Road and The Plain.
Police would like to talk to anyone with information.
- They have been asked to contact PC Hall by calling 101 or emailing SNTLongStratton@norfolk.police.uk quoting crime reference 36/84569/24.
