A fine art gallery is expanding to a new city centre premises as the high street bounces back.
Castle Fine Art will move from its current site in Back of the Inns to just two doors down in Castle Street later this summer.
But although the move is a small distance, the team's new home is three times the size of their current venue.
The gallery is funnelling £150,000 into the move, breathing a new life into the former Joules store.
Manager Sarah Mills said: "With over 2,000sq ft of space, it’ll give us the opportunity to showcase a wider range of artwork, giving visitors to the gallery a greater appreciation for the quality and diversity of Castle’s full portfolio."
"Our lease was coming up for renewal, so it was an ideal opportunity to look at our premises and think if we wanted to move somewhere bigger.
"We struggle to hang everything on the walls, so we were looking for something suitable in the right place, because we like where we are."
Castle Fine Art will be adding two new members to their existing team when they move to their new space.
Sarah added: "Now, we have to sacrifice some art because we don't have space.
"We have to put artists away that we really don't want to.
"Our new space will be more user friendly so you can appreciate each piece of art more.
"We'll have a lovely viewing room with comfy chairs and mood lighting so we can hang pieces for clients to sit and view in privacy and contemplate with a coffee or glass of wine.
"I'm really excited and hopefully this move will put us on the map.
"We'll display our current stuff and other pieces that happen to be launching at that time. We'll be able to have a larger display and a bigger selection of originals to offer our clients."
As well as showcasing national and international favourites, Castle Fine Art champions the talent of East Anglian artists.
With art and coffee table books ranging from £30 to the dizzying heights of £50,000, Castle Fine Art has pieces "to suit all tastes and pockets."
The new gallery will open in late August or early September.
