The owner of a car which has blocked a busy Norwich road after falling into a sinkhole has spoken about the accident.
It happened just after 9.50am on Rouen Road which has caused the road to be blocked since then.
The car remains stuck in the sinkhole.
Sarah Larter, who was a passenger, said: 'We heard a big clunk, got out and saw this big huge hole outside.
'We just thought 'oh, what have we hit?'. We thought it was a pothole first of all because I knew they have been doing roadworks down here.
'I'm a bit shaky still but at least we got out and it is not the whole car that has gone in, it is literally the wheel...I'm also thinking what damage has it done to the car?'
Her fiancé, was driving the car, and the couple were about to visit the Norwich NHS Walk-In Centre.
