A bridge was blocked after a lorry carrying a boat got stuck while attempting to drive over it.
The incident happened on Tuesday (November 22) at about 5.20pm on the Wroxham bridge in Norwich Road.
Bus services were cancelled and diverted following the incident.
In a tweet, Konectbus said: "Due to a low loader being stuck on the bridge at Wroxham we are currently unable to get any buses beyond Wroxham Jet Garage.
"Due to there being no diversion unless via a boat, and a low bridge, we cannot fit buses under.
"All we can do at present is wait it out."
All buses were instead terminating at Salhouse end of Wroxham.
There was heavy congestion building along Norwich Road between Hoveton and Rackheath following the incident.
The bridge was cleared and traffic began flowing freely again by 8pm.
