This week we revealed that hundreds of homes are planned for the former Marsh site in Queen’s Road.

These will include more than 400 rental flats aimed at young professionals, as well as some family homes that will also be rented.

The scheme, being proposed by an equity funding firm Zive Capital, will be part of a £80 million investment into the site.

It will include a revamp of the St Stephens underpass and the creation of a public garden along Queen’s Road.

If these plans get the go-ahead it could significantly change a key area of the city centre.
