Norfolk BC B maintained their position at the top of Division Three of the Norfolk CIBA County Bowls League after they won at home to Dereham A by 78 shots to 73, Steve Johnson's rink top scoring 27-13.
Acle C remain second after they beat Old Hall at home 105-72, John Lettice's rink winning 35-10, and North Walsham won at home to County Arts B 87-79, Tony Elvin's rink winning 31-14.
Diss B have moved to the top of Division Four after they won away at Lynnsport B 78-76, Eric Rawsthorne's rink winning 22-14. Woodlands B won at home to Pentney B 76-74, despite the away rink skipped by Lou Garner winning 30-15.
Roundwood B continue to lead the way in Division Five after they won at home to Wymondham C 101-52, Frank Haverson's rink top scoring 36-6. Dereham B remain second following their win at home to Norfolk BC C 94-43, Graham Adams rink winning 29-10. Shotford B won away at County Arts C 83-79, Gerald Forster's rink winning 33-14.
The latest match in the Norfolk CIBA Top Ten League saw Acle win away at Browston Hall 80-70 to win their first game of the season.
In the Denny Cup Norfolk BC progressed to the quarter-finals of this year's competition after they beat Essex County 75-73. They will play Wellingborough on Saturday, January 20 for a place in this semi-finals.
Beccles have also reached the quarter-finals of the Denny Plate after they beat Sudbury 98-68 and will now play Cambridge Chesterton, also on Saturday, January 20.
