Norwich City conclude their European travels with the penultimate pre-season friendly of their Championship preparations against Toulouse in Kufstein, Austria.

David Wagner's side have spent the last few days in the Tirol region of the country undergoing a week-long training camp. They will travel north from their Scheffau base to the Kufstein Arena for this afternoon's kick-off.

The game will be split into three 40-minute halves to allow players to increase their workload evenly, with the first portion of the game being played behind closed doors.

New signing Christian Fassnacht has linked up with City's squad following his move from Swiss side Young Boys and could feature against Toulouse this afternoon.

The 29-year-old officially completed his move to Carrow Road on Tuesday after an agreement was reached between the two clubs over the weekend. Fassnacht has signed a two-year deal at the club and has become their fifth signing of the summer.

Norwich's last pre-season friendly saw them draw 1-1 with AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands with Ashley Barnes getting on the scoresheet.

Midfielders Gabriel Sara and Jacob Sorensen missed last week's trip to the Netherlands through injury.

Sara is expected to be exposed to his first minutes of pre-season after undergoing appendix surgery over the summer. Norwich have managed his recovery cautiously but Wagner earmarked this fixture for his return.

Borja Sainz is likely to be sidelined until October with an ankle ligament injury sustained in his first few training sessions after joining the club from Giresunspor.

Milot Rashica and Max Aarons could also feature after rejoining the City group prior to jetting out to Austria last week. Both are expected to play some part in this afternoon's friendly clash.

Toulouse are managed by Carles Martinez Novell and finished 13th in their first season back in Ligue 1 following promotion first-ever Coupe de France title after beating Nantes 5-1 in the final back in April.

Damien Comolli, mentor and influence to City's sporting director Stuart Webber, is a president at the French club and has been credited with helping turn around their fortunes after they slipped out of the first tier.

After this fixture, Norwich will continue in Austria until later this week to prepare for their final friendly against Olympiacos at Carrow Road on Saturday.
