The Johannes Hoff Thorup era at Norwich City will begin with an away trip to Oxford United as their Championship 2024/24 fixtures were officially released.

City will kick off their campaign against the newly promoted side at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday, August 10 at 12.30pm before opening their Carrow Road campaign at home to Blackburn Rovers the following weekend.

A historic trip to the Kassam Stadium is the first time ever in a league game for the Canaries - who haven't played the Us in any competitive fixture since 1999.

Norwich will face Millwall at home on Boxing Day and welcome Portsmouth to Carrow Road on Good Friday before an Easter Monday trip to Millwall.

They will play Cardiff at Carrow Road on May 3 to conclude their Championship campaign.

The Championship season begins on Friday, August 9 live on Sky Sports with two matches as Preston North End face Sheffield United whilst Blackburn Rovers play Derby.

The opening weekend fixtures include Leeds vs Portsmouth in the Championship, Wrexham vs Wycombe and Birmingham vs Reading in League One, and Chesterfield vs Swindon Town in League Two.
