Norwich City are hoping to overcome adversity by responding to back-to-back defeats against Bristol City at Carrow Road this afternoon.
The Canaries have endured a difficult week owing to a mounting injury list with nine players sidelined through either injury or suspension, including starting striker Josh Sargent, first-choice goalkeeper Angus Gunn and key midfield trio Anis Ben Slimane, Marcelino Nunez and Kenny McLean.

City aren't set to welcome back any of their absentees for the final game before the upcoming November international break, meaning Johannes Hoff Thorup will depend on the same young and tired group of players this afternoon.
Sargent has undergone surgery on a groin injury that is set to keep him out of action for the next eight weeks.
Gabe Forsyth's rough treatment at Cardiff, including a bad tackle from Andy Rinomhota, is set to keep him sidelined for four to five weeks, although that is better than first feared. McLean has been sanctioned with a further game by the FA after his misconduct charge, which will rule him out of the next two matches.
Nunez and Gunn could return for City's trip to West Brom after the break whilst there is better news on Onel Hernandez and Ashley Barnes, who will return to team training fully during the international break.
Liam Gibbs is the only long-term absentee, with a thigh injury set to keep him out until next month.
Bristol City have challenges of their own to overcome, with Liam Manning without key duo Scott Twine and Rob Dickie for today's clash owing to injury and suspension respectively.
The Robins saw a nine-game unbeaten run ended in heartbreaking fashion by Sheffield United at Ashton Gate in midweek courtesy of a 98th-minute winner by Harrison Burrows.
Norwich are hoping to produce a response to a midweek no-show at Hillsborough, but will have to overcome adversity to maintain their year-long unbeaten run on home turf, with the opportunity to match the all competitions unbeaten run of 25 matches from the 1958/59 campaign should they avoid a loss here.
