Anis Ben Slimane returns to Norwich City's midfield as the Canaries face Bristol City this afternoon.

He's recovered from a hamstring issue to help ease Johannes Hoff Thorup's injury crisis, replacing Kaide Gordon with Emiliano Marcondes moving into a striking role.


Josh Sargent is set to miss seven weeks with a groin injury that he had surgery on earlier this week, adding to a whole host of players unavailable for selection at Carrow Road.

Angus Gunn will return from his side strain when Norwich face West Brom the other side of the upcoming international break, a game that Marcelino Nunez and Onel Hernandez could feature in as they come back from hamstring issues.

Ashley Barnes has begun training after surgery on an Achilles issue in the summer, while Gabriel Forsyth extended his knee in the 2-1 loss to Cardiff last weekend and will be absent for five to six weeks.
