Fulham could be prepared to offer Sebastien Bassong a Carrow Road escape route.
The Daily Mail reported on Friday afternoon Cottagers' chief Slavisa Jokanovic wants a reunion with the centre-back, who worked under him during a successful loan stint at Watford in 2014/15.
Bassong has fallen behind Timm Klose and Ryan Bennett in the first team pecking order during the opening weeks of the new season but any deal would hinge on City being prepared to offload the defender on a free. The 30-year-old has one year left on his current City deal but according to the Daily Mail Fulham would be unable to match Bassong's current salary at Norwich.
Alex Neil has been heavily linked with a move for French teenage defender Jérôme Onguéné, with negotiations on-going following his fact-finding trip to Norfolk last weekend.
