The latest issue of the The Canary - the official Norwich City Football Club magazine - hits the shelves this weekend.

The Canary is packed full of exclusive interviews and features including the first chat with assistant manager Colin Calderwood and first team coach Paul Trollope.

Chris Hughton's trusted lieutenants talk candidly about their footballing roots and give an insight into the Canaries backroom inner circle.

'Chris Hughton is engrossed in the job and sometimes we need to release a little bit of that pressure off him,' said Calderwood, 'and whether that is him having the confidence in us to take a training session or whatever, he knows we can get on with it.'

Big name summer signing Robert Snodgrass graces The Canary cover and talks about his delight at having finally made the move to Carrow Road following many months of 'will he, won't he?', to now be plying his trade at last in the Premier League.

Other star names in the magazine include Sebastien Bassong and Alexander Tettey, who have both made a significant impact since joining Chris Hughton's men.

Bassong admits he has been very impressed by the Carrow Road roar and is now determined to ensure Premier League survival to repay the fans for their support.

'The supporters are helping us; they're really behind us, and when we need a boost during a game they're playing their part really well and I think we've got to make sure we give them something back,' said the French-born Cameroon international

Tettey is also settling in well to life in Norfolk since his switch from Rennes having also joined an acclaimed list of Canaries players to have scored on their debuts.

'You have to be humble and you have to work hard, believe in yourself and just hope for the best, really, because it's tough, really tough to break through,' said the Norway international.

The Canary also has an exclusive catch up with chief scout Ewan Chester, who has been charged with developing the Canaries scouting network across Europe.

'I brought my entire scouting department from Birmingham City with me and I've added to that a little bit, so I have nine scouts across the UK and we're on the verge of confirming three more in Europe, which will be the initial move into a European network,' said Chester

Also, professional development coach Scott Marshall gives the lowdown on what's happening at the Colney Academy with a spot-light on some of the up-and-coming young Canaries.
